Checking

We offer checking accounts ranging from the basic checking account to interest bearing. The friendly customer service representatives at both the Raritan home office and the branch facilities are available daily to assist you with information on which of our products will prove to be the most beneficial for your personal and business checking requirements.

Regular Checking

Checking accounts at Raritan State Bank require a $100.00 Minimum Daily Balance. If the account drops below the minimum amount - a once a month service charge of $2.00 will be assessed. This fee will be waived for customers 55 years of age or older and full time students 22 years of age and under, with a signed authorization card. Service charges are waived for fiduciary, estate or church accounts.

NOW Checking

We offer you a checking account that works to build your savings. NOW accounts require a minimum deposit of $1,000.00. If the account drops below the $1,000.00 figure, a once a month charge of $5.00 will be assessed. Interest compounds daily and is paid the last day of the statement cycle.

* Detailed monthly check imaged statements.
* Sweep Availability-allowing you to transfer money from one account to another.
* Overdraft Protection which allows for automatic transfers in increments of $100.00 from passbook savings to cover any overdrafts. A notice is generated and sent when transfers occur.
* FDIC insurance for up to $100,000 provided per depositor.
